The Live Gamer Portable 2 Plus from AVerMedia is a live-streaming and gameplay-recording device that you can use to share your favorite gaming moments. It supports a wide variety of platforms including game consoles, PCs, and even smartphones. Once connected in the configuration of your choice, the Live Gamer Portable lets you enjoy your 4K content while recording a 1080p60 copy to a microSD card.
With an Ultra HD 4K pass-through, you won't have to sacrifice your experience to record your gameplay. While playing at 4K you'll still be able to record your gameplay at Full HD at 60 frames per second. To adapt to different streaming setups or for alternative use, the device boasts three individual operation modes that are easily accessible via a slider on the front interface.
For using the primary function of the LGP2 Plus, switch into PC Mode for a plug-and-play connection to your computer's streaming software. In this mode, it works as a direct pass-through interface without the need for any additional settings or setup adjustment. A headset input allows your voiceovers to be automatically recorded alongside both party chat and game audio. Gaming content creators who frequently travel will appreciate the PC-Free Mode. This mode captures footage directly to an microSD card without external hardware, so that it may be edited and uploaded at another time. When you're ready to back this data up on to a hard drive, swap the device into Storage Mode to use it as a standard microSD card reader.
