The Fujinon ZA22X7.6BERD 22x 7.6mm HD ENG Lens fits 2/3" ENG-style HD cameras and offers a built-in 2x extender, which enables an effective focal range of 7.6-334mm. Featuring digital servos for both zoom and focus, the ZA22X7.6BERD is ready to be controlled remotely via an RS-232 serial controller or traditional analog control.

Focus, zoom, and iris can all be controlled, making the lens suitable for applications ranging from studio use and tower cams to videoconferencing and jib-arm installation. With the optional ECU-2A remote extender module (sold separately), remote control of the 2x extender is possible.

Digi Power

Fujinon has developed a digital servo control system, Digi Power, to enhance the performance of its zoom lenses. State-of-the-art components, including a 32-bit RISC processor in the lens, a CPU in each servo demand, optical encoders, and high-speed serial communication devices – together with the digital control circuit – provide 13-bit accuracy in zoom and focus control as well as a variety of new functions. An RS-232 connector in the lens provides a connection between the lens and a PC, or other control device, for external control. This function has made it possible to control the lens functions with the high degree of accuracy and reliability needed for virtual studio and other robotic applications, and to raise the level for all production environments

Quick Zoom

Quick Zoom requires only 0.7 seconds to go from wide to telephoto, end to end. With the simple push of a button, Quick Zoom provides for a rapid zoom movement to the telephoto position to check focus. Releasing the button returns the lens to the previously selected zoom position. Quick Zoom can be performed remotely from the ERD-T22 and ERD-10A-D01

Digital FIND System

The Focused Intelligent Network Diagnosis (FIND) system aids in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting by evaluating various lenses' electronic and mechanical parameters. For determining the need for service or adjustments, this data may be stored for future reference
